Prayer for those in authorithy
Dear God, i pray for those in authority. Lord give them understanding to serve with compassion, and empathy towards humanity. Protect them from all evil. My God of Israel, you are the same God that took your people out of Egypt, we need your sovereign power in our every day lives to protect us and teach us to do good and not evil. God give those in authority the banner of mercy for every citizen in their country and strangers that enters their country. You were ones a strange in this world, died and returned home to heaven and inter-seeding for us. Almighty God, we thank you for living in the heart of those in authority, and we know they will listen to your voice in ruling their citizens- and not leaning to their own understanding. Lord we thank you for hearing this prayer, in Jesus name.
